The kindness of a stranger can never be under estimated. Think back to a time when someone did something for you without expecting anything in return. What did that make you feel like? Special? Important? Better yet, it made you feel like you mattered. We all want to matter. Our life should also matter. Shouldn’t it?
You are here during this time for a very specific purpose. Often times we spend our entire lives without knowing what our purpose is. Did you know that we can be so full, that we are unable to absorb any new information? What do I mean? I mean that if we live our lives as an expert and all knowing , we are limiting our opportunity to experience new things and grow.
The goal is to be child like -to slow down enough to enjoy the details all around us. Observe others’ behavior without allowing them to affect your behavior. Live in a state of being aware, but not letting things upset up emotionally. This can be done with practice.
Find a space for quiet time and meditate. Often times we do not think we can control the thoughts between our ears. The truth is we are the ones that manifest these thoughts. Choose to focus on good things, helping others, and growing in your relationship with God. When you do these things your bliss, your purpose will find you.
