Today while driving back to the office, I noticed the gentle descent of a leaf floating to the ground. It made me ponder, if the trees need to shed their leaves shouldn’t we reflect about what needs to be shed in our lives.
What are you doing that’s not working? Just because you have always done something, it doesn’t mean that you should always do it. Assess the reasons. Perhaps what has worked in the past is now just a habit. Remember that there is a difference in the ought to and the should to.
If you feel as if you are in a seasonal or economical rut, seek a fresh set of eyes that can help you realize a new direction. What are your priorities? How can you reinvent yourself or your business to ride the wave of the recession.
Do not consider this a failure. A sign of wisdom is when one can step outside of their ego and take a critical look at oneself. This is not natural and takes great strength.
Your life is like a garden. With proper pruning you are sure to create a bouquet of flowers throughout your journey.
