No, really. We have opinions and views on various topics strongly based on our prior life experience. The important thing is to begin a dialog and ask the question “Why do I feel this way?”
I am not stating that we are not entitled to our opinions, we just need to ask ourselves “What is the motivation for the opinion?”.
It is when we ask why and see things from another’s point of view that we can find a way to agree to disagree. It also allows us to look in the mirror and make sure that what we think is based on fact and not on assumptions.
