When others know your why, they make decisions about things from a much deeper place. A place that reasonates with them personally.
Do you know why you do what you do? In your business, are you clear about your company’s why? Do you share the core beliefs about their purpose or why they exist? If you don’t, you will soon find yourself just going through the motions. You will feel that you just aren’t making a difference and eventually your customers and clients will be able to detect it as well.
What about your personal why? We all share that question when we understand how precious life really is. What is important to you? What motivates you to choose to serve others or isolate? Once we understand our why, we can address anything that seems to have taken us off course. When you respond to situations in an unhealthy emotional way, ask yourself why?
My husband laughs and tells me I must have been an interesting child-why, why, why… It is time we all ask why, so we can understand what moves us. If we don’t like what we discover, we can change course. If we discover that we do like our why, we can begin to incorporate things into our daily lives that will make us feel more fullfilled.
I am still uncovering my why. I realize now that I have adopted some limiting beliefs about myself that have held me back over the years. Make Your Best Impression was created to help others break past their barriers that are holding them back personally and professionally. The real work is an inside job. You can create the life you deserve. The first step is to ask why.
