Dallas Teague Snider, Business Etiquette Expert and America’s Impression Engineer®, has a passion to help others reach their true potential both personally and professionally. As the older child of a bipolar parent, Dallas understood at an early age that she would have to create the future she desired. Without the advantages of monetary wealth, she focused on what she could do, not on what seemed beyond her reach. She realized early in life that the concept of one new idea can change your world if you are open to receive.
In 1992, Dallas graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Leisure Service, concentrating in hospitality and marketing. During college she was President of Tour De Force (Goodwill Ambassadors). She also was named a Miss USS Alabama Crewmate for the state’s namesake battleship, a position for which she traveled to promote the state – most importantly learning the proper waving techniques.
Upon graduation, Dallas jumped head first into the hotel industry and by 25 was a named Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1995, she was honored with the Distinguished Sales & Marketing Award. In the mid 90s, Dallas worked for Marriott International, from whom she earned the title Supervisor of the Year. She worked with Marriott until 1999, when she joined the Greater Birmingham Convention & Visitors Bureau as a national sales manager.
LeadReferrals Consulting and Marketing Services Inc. was established in 1999 as networking, sales and marketing organization based on a strong code of ethics. After attending the Protocol School of Washington® in 2007, Dallas founded Make Your Best Impression to offer training in the areas of business etiquette, communications, and personal development. Passionate to help others be their best -self and to eliminate the barriers that impede success, she offers workshops and seminars as well as personal coaching. She is also the founder of the Laginappe Service Awards which that promotes and recognizes that companies that offer and adhere to adopting excellence in customer service. She received her Certified Meeting Professional designation in July 2002 from the Convention Industry Council and was named Business Professional Women/USA’s Alabama State Young Careerist for 2003-2004.
Today, Dallas is business and life coach who works to help others make their best impression and eliminate any barriers to their success. She is an intelligent, high energy speaker. As a 20 year hospitality and hotel sales executive, Dallas brings her passion for the business community and making a difference in the lives of others together as a speaker and trainer of business etiquette and international protocol. As the author of “Professionally Polished, Business Etiquette Savvy for Today’s Competitive Market” she offers practical tools to help those looking to recession proof their career a competitive edge.
