Lagniappe Service Awards ®
For all my fellow gulf coast natives, this word needs no introduction. For those that are not familiar with this term, Lagniappe means a little something extra. My gift is to challenge you to adopt this concept as a banner in your professional and personal life.
The fact is that the little things do count. Travel back to a time when someone, without your asking, did something a little extra, perhaps went out of their way to do something for you without expecting anything in return. I would venture to say that person made you feel important. This is the message you want to project to everyone you meet, treating them with respect, dignity and honor.
How do you offer Lagniappe service? First, it’s a mindset, a way of thinking. This is a complete focus on the other individual which influences feelings of confidence and trust. Your personal brand will be your platform that will follow you throughout your career.
We are looking for those individuals who project this attitude of service.
