Make Your Best Impression Blog · July 24, 2009
I came across the attached article this morning and figured it was worth sharing. It talks about how you should be aware of your online reputation.

With the introduction of products like “XOBNI” where your Facebook or Linked-in photos end up being displayed while someone is reading your email you have to be especially careful about what is published. Imagine the scenario where you are explaining the lack of professionalism of an on-site technician while a picture of you from the latest family wedding shows up on the screen at the same time. It may be harder to make your point or be taken seriously.
So ask yourself next time if you shouldn’t be having a tough conversation on the phone rather than firing emails, but we should still be extremely diligent about our public internet reputation.
